The countdown is over – tonight is the final opportunity to experience the magic of the 27th Standard Bank Joy of Jazz, with the city set to come alive once again at the Sandton Convention Centre.

Proudly presented with Standard Bank as the main sponsor, this year’s spectacular two-day celebration brings together the richness of African jazz, international sounds, heritage and contemporary creativity across four stages.

From legendary South African voices to internationally celebrated artists, the programme features Angélique Kidjo, Kamasi Washington, Ibrahim Maalouf, Nubya Garcia, Thandiswa Mazwai, Judith Sephuma, Madala Kunene, McCoy Mrubata, Gabi Motuba, Sibusile Xaba, Nomfusi and many more.

But this is more than a concert – it is an invitation to explore, adventure and become part of Johannesburg’s living musical heritage.

With 2026 marking 50 years since the 1976 Soweto Uprising and 70 years since the 1956 Women’s March, the festival connects the country’s powerful past with the sounds shaping its future.

And if you are a Standard Bank cardholder, there is even more reason to join the experience: cardholders can get up to 15% off, subject to the applicable terms, availability and ticket conditions.

Last night was filled with pure pleasure, excitement and unforgettable energy, as audiences moved between the festival’s hospitality lounges and stages that were rocking late into the night. The atmosphere was electric, the music was alive and guests could hardly hold back as every performance delivered another moment to remember.

If you missed last night, don’t miss your chance to be part of tonight’s final celebration. Tonight is your last chance. Bring your energy, gather your people and step into an unforgettable night where jazz, heritage, culture and Johannesburg’s vibrant spirit meet.

Standard Bank Joy of Jazz 2026 – don’t just hear about it. Be there. Explore it. Live it.
