Johannesburg, 26–28 September 2025 — The Standard Bank Joy of Jazz Festival is back at the Sandton Convention Centre for three days of music and culture. This year, more than 60 artists from 15 countries will perform, bringing sounds from Africa, Europe, and America to one stage. Big names include Esperanza Spalding, José James, and Mali’s powerful voice Oumou Sangaré, alongside South Africa’s own stars.

The festival will take place across four stages: Dinaledi, known for headline acts; Diphala, which celebrates African roots; Conga, filled with rhythm and groove; and Mbira, a space for fresh, creative sounds. Each stage offers something special for every jazz lover.

Tickets are sold on Ticketmaster. Prices are R1 350 for a single day, R2 250 for two days, and R3 250 for the full weekend. Standard Bank cardholders get 15% discount, limited to two tickets per person.

For a luxury experience, VIP and VVIP packages are available from Regal Hospitality & Events. These include all-stage access, private lounges, fine dining, drinks, and secure parking. Packages start from R8 995 (VIP) and R10 995 (VVIP), excluding VAT.

With Standard Bank as the main sponsor and T-Musicman as organiser, the Joy of Jazz Festival has grown into South Africa’s leading jazz event, giving space to both international icons and home-grown talent while uniting audiences through music.
