FlySafair is stepping up its game with new technology, better customer tools, and fresh flight routes. In October 2025, the airline shared exciting updates about how it’s making air travel easier and smarter for South Africans.

One big move is the launch of Lindi, FlySafair’s new AI travel assistant. Lindi works through WhatsApp and helps customers book flights, change names, pick seats, and more — all without calling customer service. According to Kirby Gordon, Chief Marketing Officer of FlySafair, the goal is to use smart tech to keep costs low and improve the flying experience.

FlySafair is also growing its network. A new route from Cape Town to Hoedspruit was launched in early October 2025. This new flight makes it easier for tourists and locals to reach the Kruger National Park area. Gordon said the route meets a strong demand and will help boost local travel.

In an interview with TechCentral on October, Gordon explained how FlySafair’s low-cost model depends on technology. From self-service tools to AI-driven customer support, every innovation is designed to save time and money — for both the airline and the passengers.

FlySafair also continues to stay in the news with its strong growth and smart strategy. Whether it’s adding new destinations or improving digital services, the airline is showing that low-cost doesn’t mean low-quality.

With tech, service, and smart planning, FlySafair is flying higher than ever.
