The next time rugby fans board a flight between Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban, they may find themselves sharing the cabin with some of South Africa’s most recognisable rugby stars.
That is the exciting prospect created by a new partnership between LIFT, the Vodacom Bulls and the Isuzu Bulls Daisies, a union that brings together two of Pretoria’s most dominant rugby forces and a proudly South African airline with a growing reputation for connecting people, places and experiences.
The partnership will see LIFT become the Associate Domestic Airline Sponsor of both teams, providing domestic travel support for the Vodacom Bulls and Isuzu Bulls Daisies throughout the season.
And if the prospect of spotting a Bulls player at the airport or in the cabin is enough to excite supporters, the partnership promises much more than a chance encounter at cruising altitude.

Fans can expect match-day branding at Loftus Versfeld, digital content, CRM activations, competitions and collaborative fan experiences designed to bring the supporters closer to the game and the players they follow.
For LIFT, the partnership arrives at a particularly powerful moment for both teams.
The Vodacom Bulls have established themselves as one of the leading forces in South African rugby, recently competing in the 2026 United Rugby Championship final.
The Isuzu Bulls Daisies, meanwhile, continue to set the standard in the women’s game after completing an unbeaten season to claim their fourth consecutive Women’s Super League title.
Different competitions. Different challenges. The same winning culture.
That is the thread binding the partnership together.
“As a brand that proudly supports local talent, we warmly welcome the Bulls teams on board,” said Cilliers Jordaan, Chief Commercial Officer at LIFT.
“This valuable partnership strengthens LIFT’s presence in South African sport and connects us with a highly engaged national fan base. The team’s ambition, performance culture and deep supporter loyalty make them a strong fit for our growing brand, and we’re especially pleased to demonstrate our commitment to supporting the continued growth of the sport.”
For the Bulls, the partnership is about more than simply getting from one fixture to the next.
A professional rugby season is a relentless grind of travel, recovery, training, preparation and match-day pressure. Behind every kick-off is a logistical machine that must operate with precision, and seamless domestic travel is an important part of keeping squads focused on the job at hand.
“We’re proud to partner with LIFT, as they’re known for creating memorable experiences and connecting people, something that rugby strongly embodies,” said Edgar Rathbone, CEO of the Blue Bulls Company.
“Seamless domestic travel is vital for keeping our men’s and women’s squads at the top of their game throughout a gruelling season.
Partnering with an airline that shares our passion for performance, innovation, and community makes complete sense, and we look forward to soaring to new heights together both on and off the field.”
The partnership brings together a team that continues to challenge at the highest level, a women’s side rewriting the record books and an airline determined to back South African talent.
In rugby, the journey between fixtures can be just as important as the 80 minutes on the pitch.
Now, with LIFT providing the wings, the Vodacom Bulls and Isuzu Bulls Daisies will have a new partner helping them travel the distance.
And for supporters, the season could come with an added bonus: the next big rugby conversation may begin not in the stands, but somewhere above the clouds.
