Rosebank Mall launched its new Energy Project to make the mall greener and more reliable. The event brought together experts, business people, and community members to celebrate the change.

Wally Webber opened the event by explaining that the mall wants to cut pollution and keep power running at all times for shops and visitors.

Jacques Vosloo spoke about how the project works. It uses solar panels, big batteries, and smart systems to save and manage energy. The system can grow and improve as the mall’s needs change.

Muhammad Varachia the general manager at Rosebank Mall talked about money matters and how cheaper energy will help shop owners.

Roberts Eustace focused on the environment. He said the project will lower harmful gas emissions and save water, helping South Africa reach its climate goals.

Finally, Darius Booyen thanked all the partners, engineers, and the mall’s team. He said the project is “not just about technology—it’s about caring for people and the planet.”

After the speeches, guests toured the new energy facilities and saw how the project will bring a cleaner and stronger energy future for the mall.
