The Basadi in Music Awards has always been about creating space for women to be seen, heard and recognised for the extraordinary contribution they make to our industry. Broadcasting REWIND on SABC 2 allows us to extend that celebration into homes across the country and reminds us that the work of celebrating and empowering women must continue long after August.”
