BUCCANEERS UNLEASH FIVE-STAR FURY AS THEY DEMOLISH ARROWS IN ARENA SHOWDOWN

Tana Malinga

Orlando was rocking and Orlando Pirates gave their fans a night to remember as they dismantled Lamontville Golden Arrows in a ruthless 5-0 masterclass at Orlando Stadium.

From the first whistle, the Buccaneers set the tone, sharp, fearless, and hungry. It didn’t take long for the breakthrough, as Relebohile Mofokeng lit up the stadium with a clinical opener, sending waves of excitement through the stands. Pirates were in full flow, moving the ball with confidence and purpose.

Arrows simply couldn’t cope with the pressure. An unfortunate own goal by Edward Maova summed up their night, everything that could go wrong, did. By halftime, it was already 3-0, and the writing was on the wall.

But Pirates weren’t done.
Backed by the roaring home crowd, they came out in the second half with even more intent. Oswin Appollis stepped into the spotlight with a brilliant brace, while Mofokeng added his second to cap off a dazzling individual performance.
It was wave after wave of black-and-white attack fast and unforgiving.

By the final whistle, it wasn’t just a win, it was a statement. Pirates showed power, precision, and pure dominance, reminding the league exactly what they’re capable of when they hit top gear.

A five-star performance. A roaring Orlando. And a warning shot to the rest of the league
