The Standard Bank Top Women Conference 2025 was held on 22 and 23 September at the Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg. The event brought together top women leaders, business owners, government officials, and young entrepreneurs from across Africa.

The theme was “Her Power. Africa’s Future.” It focused on how women are shaping Africa’s growth in business, politics, and communities.

The event was hosted by well-known broadcaster Gugulethu Mfuphi. Guests enjoyed powerful talks, networking sessions, and exciting activities like PitchPower, where women had an opportunity to pitch their business ideas to investors.

Another highlight was Business Matchmaking , a special system that helped guests connect with the right people and companies.

The main sponsor was Standard Bank, with merSETA as a key partner. Other companies and government organizations also supported the event.

The event offered both in-person and online access, so women from all over the world could join.

The conference reminded everyone that when women rise, Africa rises too.
