South Africa’s favourite low-cost airline has scooped five awards at the 2025 SACAA Civil Aviation Industry Awards, including the coveted Best Airline by Public Vote, a clear sign that travellers love flying with us!

The SACAA Civil Aviation Industry Awards celebrate excellence across safety, innovation, customer service, and transformation, with winners selected by an independent judging panel. This year, FlySafair walked away with top honours in five categories, plus six additional placements recognising the airline’s performance across multiple disciplines:

A Consistent Record of Recognition

FlySafair’s success at the 2025 awards builds on a strong track record since the inaugural SACAA Civil Aviation Industry Awards in 2018. The airline has won awards every time the event has been held, demonstrating consistent excellence across operational, safety, customer service, innovation, people development, and transformation disciplines.

In 2023, FlySafair secured five first-place wins, including Air Operator/Airline of the Year, Aviation Company of the Year, and Best Airline by Public Vote, along with eight additional placements across various categories.
