GAU TV AND TSHWANE TV ZALLYWOOD AND UNISA’S MISSION TO REDEFINE THEOLOGICAL EDUCATION

Table of Content

In an exciting move to revolutionize theological education in South Africa, Zallywood Media Group, the parent company of Tshwane TV, GauTV, and UniTV, has partnered with the University of South Africa (UNISA) to introduce Short Learning Programmes aimed at empowering aspiring theology students.

The collaboration builds on Zallywood’s first South African television show, “Calling The Called — Preachers Challenge,” which aired on GauTV and focused on uncovering talented preachers. This initiative marks the beginning of an exciting era for students eager to explore theology. The heart of this initiative is the student portal, designed with the user’s experience in mind.

“We recognize the need for theological education,” said well-known theologian, businessman, and Zallywood Group’s Dr Tuwani Victor Phume. “This collaboration not only signifies a leap forward in theology education but also highlights the commitment to nurturing the next generation of leaders in theology within South Africa.”

The SLP introduces five foundational theology modules that delve into essential topics, including: Foundations of Theology, Intermediate Biblical Interpretation, Thematic Theology and Church Governance, Biblical Principles of Leadership and Spiritual Growth, and Foundations of Christian Doctrine and Spiritual Truth.

As the partnership between Zallywood and UNISA takes flight, the two organizations are steadfast in their mission to redefine theological education, ensuring that every student feels supported and encouraged throughout their academic journey.
