The 2024/25 PSL Awards have all been handed out and Mamelodi Sundowns’ duo, Coach Miguel Cardoso and Lucas Ribeiro, won big on Tuesday night, seeing the Club walking away with six awards.

The proceedings kicked off with the Chairman’s Award which was awarded to Bafana Ba Style. The Pretoria-based side received the accolade for the second consecutive time after representing not only the Yellow Nation but South African football as a whole on international platforms this season.

After being at the helm of Masandawana’s success in his eight months at the Club and three Betway Premiership Coach of the Month accolades later, coach Miguel Cardoso was named the league’s Coach of the Season.

The shining star of the night after winning big and making a clean sweep in this campaign’s PSL Awards is Lucas Ribeiro. After being nominated for the Betway Premership Goal of the Season, Betway Premiership Player’s Player of the Season and Footballer of the Season, the Brazilian-born starlet scooped all three. Furthermore, after concluding the season with 16 goals in the domestic league, Ribeiro also walked away with the Betway Premiership Top Goalscorer of the Season award.

For a successful 2024/25 campaign and the hard work that paid off, the entire Mamelodi Sundowns family congratulates the team, coach Miguel and Ribeiro for the recognition of their efforts in the PSL Awards.
