Pretoria is getting ready for a beautiful day of music and culture as MATBAV Events presents the first-ever Savor Soirée on Sunday, 23 November 2025, at the Ditsong Pioneer Museum in Silverton.

The show will feature South Africa’s soulful singer Siphokazi, known for her powerful voice and heartwarming songs. She will share the stage with the talented Maleh, whose Afro-soul and jazz sounds are loved across Africa. The energy will continue with top DJs Ismail Abrahams (Metro FM), Thabo Mokwele (Kaya FM), David Mashabela (Radio 2000), Amon Mokwena (Motsweding FM), African Goddess, and local DJs who will keep the crowd dancing into the night.

The Ditsong Pioneer Museum offers the perfect outdoor picnic setting, with open green lawns, old farm-style buildings, and a warm heritage feel. Guests can relax, enjoy great music, and sip on premium drinks from GH Mumm, The Glenlivet, Valpré, and Schweppes.

The event was created by John Radipea Mathabatha, founder of MATBAV (Pty) Ltd. Born in Atteridgeville, John is an entrepreneur with a background in architecture, IT, and hospitality. He has managed well-known lifestyle spots like Seattle Coffee Company, Kauai, and Cappello Hatfield Square before starting MATBAV in 2024.

“The Savor Soirée is more than just music,” says Mathabatha. “It’s about people connecting through culture, art, and heritage.”

This exciting event is set to become one of Pretoria’s most loved annual celebrations.
