Following an unprecedented demand and a historic ticket sales campaign, Scorpion Kings Live at FNB Stadium is set to release an additional 5 000 tickets on 25 June 2026, giving thousands more fans the opportunity to be part of what has become one of the most significant live music events in South African history.
In addition to the additional tickets set for release, a limited number of hospitality packages will also become available, offering fans and guests premium access to this landmark experience.
The release marks another major milestone for the event, which has already generated record-breaking demand since tickets first went on sale. More than 500 000 fans queued online in an attempt to secure tickets, underlining the extraordinary appetite for what is set to be the biggest Amapiano concert ever staged.
The addition of the final 5 000 tickets, sets Scorpion Kings Live at FNB Stadium to become the second-largest sold-out concert in the history of FNB Stadium, placing it alongside some of the most iconic live music events ever hosted on African soil.
More significantly, it will establish DJ Maphorisa and Kabza De Small as the first South African artists, and the first artists from the Amapiano genre, to sell out a stadium at this scale, marking a defining moment for a sound that was born in South Africa and has since become a global force.
What began as a local movement has evolved into one of the world’s most influential music genres, with Amapiano dominating charts, festivals, clubs, and streaming platforms across continents. The success of Scorpion Kings Live reflects not only the popularity of DJ Maphorisa and Kabza De Small, but also the remarkable growth and global impact of South African music.
Reflecting on the moment, DJ Maphorisa said, “This is bigger than us. It’s bigger than one show. It’s about showing the world what South African music can do. To see so many fans supporting Amapiano at this level is something we never take for granted.”
Kabza De Small added, “We’ve always believed in the music and in the people who support it. To be part of a moment like this, where piano is making history, is a blessing. We’re grateful to every fan who continues to grow with us.”
As the final allocation of tickets are set to be released, fans are encouraged to act quickly when sales open on 25 June, as demand is expected to remain exceptionally high.
On 19 September 2026, Amapiano will once again make history. Additional tickets will be available via Webtickets, Pick n Pay, and Boxer stores nationwide, whilst hospitality suit tickets are available from MyTicket.
