After weeks of unforgettable sporting moments, electric entertainment and shared celebrations, the Smirnoff ICE Fan Park is preparing for one final showdown as fans gather on Sunday, 19 July, to enjoy one of the biggest international football clashes, as Spain takes on Argentina.

Since opening its doors in June, the Smirnoff ICE Fan Park at Wakanda Village in Sandton has become a vibrant home for sports lovers, bringing together passionate fans to experience the excitement of football, rugby, tennis and motorsport in one dynamic space. The Fan Park has evolved into a community hub where unforgettable sporting moments have been celebrated alongside great music, delicious food and incredible energy.

The initiative forms part of Smirnoff ICE’s ongoing We Do We Nakanjani platform, which celebrates authentic self-expression, meaningful social connections and the communities that bring culture to life. Throughout the campaign, the Fan Park has embodied this spirit by creating an inclusive space where sport, music and culture come together, giving fans a shared experience that extends far beyond the final whistle.

Now, as Spain and Argentina prepare to battle it out in a highly anticipated showdown, fans are invited to be part of one last celebration and witness the climactic finale surrounded by fellow supporters.

Adding to the excitement is a stellar entertainment lineup featuring Slade, EeQue, Dench and Uncool MC, who will keep the atmosphere alive before and after the game, ensuring the celebrations continue long after the last whistle.

The last showdown will also spotlight emerging South African talent, with DJ Wamz, an Afro-house DJ and the winner of the Smirnoff ICE DJ Competition, joining the lineup alongside the established artists. The competition was launched by Smirnoff ICE to discover and celebrate the next generation of local DJs, giving one outstanding talent the opportunity to perform. DJ Wamz’s appearance marks the culmination of the competition and reinforces Smirnoff ICE’s commitment to championing rising talent and creating meaningful platforms for local creatives.

Over the course of the experience, the Smirnoff ICE Fan Park has brought fans together through a shared love of sport, creating memorable moments that extended beyond the action on the big screen. From thrilling match days to live entertainment, the Fan Park has showcased the power of bringing people together to cheer, celebrate every victory and every connection.
