Football fans are invited to come together for an unforgettable day of football, music, food and entertainment as the Smirnoff ICE Fan Park officially kicks off on Sunday, 28 June 2026 at Wakanda Village in Sandton.

Designed to bring fans closer to the excitement of the biggest global football tournaments, the Smirnoff ICE Fan Park will transform Wakanda Village into a vibrant destination where football lovers can watch their favourite countries play, enjoy great food, experience top-tier entertainment and connect with fellow fans in an electric atmosphere.

The initiative forms part of Smirnoff’s ongoing We Do We Nakanjani platform, which champions authentic self-expression, meaningful social connections and the communities that bring culture to life.

The first edition of the Fan Park will feature performances from some of South Africa’s most exciting DJs – 2wo Bunnies, Tristan Urwin, Havoc and Tiiamo; who will soundtrack the night’s excitement before, during and after the football action.

Whether you’re supporting your favourite nation, catching up with friends or simply looking for a lively weekend experience, the Smirnoff ICE Fan Park promises an immersive environment where football and culture come together from 28 June to 19 July 2026.

“Football has always had a unique way of bringing people together, and the Smirnoff ICE Fan Park is about creating a space where fans can share in the excitement, energy and passion of the game while enjoying incredible music, food and entertainment,” says Ifeoma Agu, Group Head of Culture, Influencers and Advocacy at Diageo South, West and Central Africa.

On 28 June to 19 July 2026 the Smirnoff ICE Fan Park will host a series of viewing experiences, giving fans multiple opportunities to gather and celebrate the beautiful game together.
