TELKOM RADIO AWARDS 2025: SOUTH AFRICAN RADIO CELEBRATES ITS CHAMPIONS

The 2025 Telkom Radio Awards lit up the Sandton Convention Centre as South Africa honoured the best voices and stations in the industry. HOT 102.7FM claimed Commercial Station of the Year, while Ikwekwezi FM, Groot FM 90.5, and Tshwane FM 93.6 topped the PBS, Community, and Campus categories.

Tshwane FM left the audience buzzing with five major wins, including Best Talk Show, Best Night-Time Show, Best Sport Show, and Best Breakfast Show Presenter. Listeners also showed their power, pushing Ligwalagwala FM to victory in the MyStation, Most Votes category.

Community upliftment shone as OFM’s Cycling Santa won the Community Project Award. Primedia Broadcasting and Jacaranda FM also secured multiple honours across news, talk, promotions, and entertainment.

This year’s Awards confirmed once again that South African radio continues to thrive with talent, heart, and innovation.
