Orlando Pirates lit up Orlando Stadium with a powerhouse Black Friday fan experience that felt every bit like a celebration of the club’s legacy. The exclusive “The Collection” pop up drew massive crowds as supporters rushed in for bold bargains and even bigger Buccaneer energy.

Fans scored up to 80% off official Pirates merchandise, with limited edition drops, classic favourites and the latest season gear flying off the shelves. One of the day’s hottest offers was the 50% discount on instant jersey personalisation for the 2025/26 Home and Away kits, a deal that had printers running non stop.

But the real magic came from the presence of iconic Pirates legends who elevated the day into a true Black & White celebration. Lucky Lekgwathi, a pillar of Buccaneer leadership, spent hours engaging warmly with fans. Brighton Mhlongo brought his trademark energy, posing for photos and sharing keeper insights with young supporters. Edward “Magents” Motale, ever the crowd favourite, mixed humour and nostalgia in every interaction. And Happy Jele, the embodiment of modern Pirates loyalty, was mobbed by fans eager for selfies and stories from his illustrious career.

Their presence added weight, warmth and heritage to the event, transforming a shopping activation into a full blown family affair rich with pride and memory.

With music pumping, street food sizzling and generations of fans mingling, Pirates turned Black Friday into a festival of identity, unity and passion.

A thumbs up performance from the Buccaneers, proving once again that the spirit of the Skull & Crossbones lives far beyond the pitch.
