Standard Bank proudly celebrated the winners of its 2025 Enterprise and Supplier Development (ESD) Awards at the elegant Wescliff Hotel, honouring businesses that are driving inclusive growth, innovation and social impact across South Africa.

The awards recognise entrepreneurs and suppliers who are building sustainable businesses while creating jobs and strengthening communities. The event highlighted the powerful role that enterprise and supplier development plays in supporting small and medium enterprises and building strong partnerships between corporates and local businesses.

Speaking at the awards, Naledzani Mosomane, Head of Enterprise and Supplier Development for Business and Commercial Banking at Standard Bank South Africa, reaffirmed the bank’s commitment to empowering entrepreneurs through access to funding, skills development, mentorship and market opportunities.

Top honours on the night celebrated excellence across key growth sectors. Buttercup Farmhouse was named Enterprise Development, Agri Growth 1st Place Winner, while Matte BLK received Supplier Development, Growth 1st Place. In the technology category, Adnotes claimed Enterprise Development, Tech Innovation 1st Place, showcasing the impact of innovation-led businesses.

Winners were congratulated by Standard Bank leaders, including Lesiba Matladi and Nokhanyo Ntshingila, senior managers within the Enterprise and Supplier Development team, who applauded the entrepreneurs’ resilience and vision.

The evening was hosted by award-winning sports broadcaster Carol Tshabalala, adding energy and inspiration to the celebration.

The 2025 ESD Awards once again reflected Standard Bank’s dedication to building an inclusive economy by supporting businesses that are shaping South Africa’s future through innovation, growth and social impact.
